San Diego 2010

We keep getting teased by the whole summer thing with a couple days of warm weather and then SNOW again...crazy spring and so sad for my dead flowers that I planted aparently a little too early. Sooo...we decided to start our summer off by going to find warm weather and a beach elsewhere-San Diego (or Sandy Lego as Andiee says)! This was the first time we have taken over a week vacation with just the three of us and we has SUCH a great time!!

A couple pics of one of Andiee's last ballet classes this year when her Grandma Joyce was here...

Her solo dance with the wand

Grandma helping Andiee hang up her homemade bird feeder.

Helping Grandma plant my new beautiful flowers (that are now dead by the way)

On the way to San Diego...pink headphones and all...

Ready for the pool!

Beach at last...A tiny bit chilly the first day, but was beautiful warm and sunny the rest of our trip!

The first of many sand castles with daddy

LOVING the beach, the sand and the water...her mama's girl! We are all three ready to move there!!

Testing out the sand castle for strength and durability...(=

My lovely mermaid creation with a little help from my sidekick

We LOVE it here...so beautiful!

Our condo by the beach

Lots of swimming!!

We got to spend the first 3 days with our good friends Kyle & Anna-Lisa and their little cutie William!

Andiee feeding me a bite of her yummy gelato!

SEAWORLD!! The elmo ride she has been talking about since last fall when we were there!!

Watching and feeding the sea lions

Probably her favorite thing at the entire Seaworld was to stand as close as she could to the bottom of the roller coaster and let it drench her when it came down and splashed in the water and then jumped in the puddles it would create...we did this for a good part of an hour. While all the other kids would run off as soon as the roller coaster would come down and splash, Andiee would inch as close as possible to get the wettest she possibly could and then would laugh and come run to tell us how she got splashed and got all wet! Funny...the simplest things....

Following daddy out to the waves

Proudly showing off his next castle creation!! (=

Happy 30th birthday to my wonderful hubby!!!!!!!!!!!! The real idea behind this trip was to go somewhere fun for Kyle's 30th - though he likes to pretend the whole 30th birthday thing isn't happening!(=

Andiee feeding Kyle his birthday icecream...aparently he is getting too old to feed himself (hehe)

Enjoying our dinner at sunset on the harbor

Last day on the beach
