Fishin' Day

I took Andiee fishing for the first time and she loved it! We went to a place that they stock their ponds/river with fresh water trout and almost every time you put your line in, you get a bite, so it is perfect for impatient little ones...ok, and us impatient older ones too! ha! (= We caught the amount that we wanted to catch and they gut them and clean them for you. (=

Andiee and I trying our line in the water...I think there was more fish than there was water! j/k

Proof that I picked the slimy things up with my bare hands and even had to work the hooks out of their mouths...I can't believe I did this all the time when I was little and I even used to gut my own fish!

Our good friends Angie, Tanner and baby Caydence came with us...Tanner and Andiee were pretty independent and wanted to hold their poles by themselves! (= Andiee only dropped hers in once. lol

Andiee mostly fished with the end of her pole in the water.

Love this picture...my little fishin' girl.

Baby Caydence...such a little cutie...loved watching all the action!

Andiee enjoying her fish for dinner that night. It was actually really good fish...fresh and not at all fishy.

Visit from Papa and Gramma!

Rollerblading with our friends Angie, Tanner and Caydence...so much fun!

Papa and Grandma came to visit this week/weekend...we had such great time, besides Andiee being sick for part of the time. We kept forgetting our camara, but we did manage to get in a great hike at 9500 ft on the mountain above our house. Here is a picture of Andiee with Papa and Grandma at the park! We are going to miss them...Andiee really gets attached when they are here!

Didn't get pics of our hike, but here are some wild flowers we brought back home...they were so gorgeous and were all over the mountain!

4th of July

It's been a busy busy summer...full of swimming, playdates, traveling and company! Here is a little of what we have been up to...

Aquatic center with a few of Andiee's friends

Syracuse Heritage days parade with some friends a couple weeks ago. Andiee LOVED the parade...she had a blast running out to get every piece of candy (even though she didn't know what she was running out to get) and watching all the pretty floats and loud fire trucks.

After the parade...I took Andiee in the cow train.

Daddy and his little girl

Mikayla and Andiee holding hands (soo cute) walking out of their last day of swimming lessons...little buddies.

4th of July weekend - Tom, Tami, Hannah and Halle came to visit us....we had SOOO much fun and were so sad to see them go...thanks for such a great time! Here are the kids (plus Tami) swimming in the pool. They played in the pool everyday.

We ate BBQ every night out on our deck...it was sooo yummy!

Playing in Andiee's ball pool

Andiee's new Elmo or "mo mo" as she calls it from Uncle Tom and Aunt Tami...thanks SO much (I think) (= We now can't even go into a different room with out making sure we have baby elmo, his paci, his blaket and his diaper...he goes EVERYWHERE with us! UGH! (=

Matching girls...I got all 3 girls matching 4th of July Dresses and I made little headband bandanas to match them...they looked super cute. I also made them cute little hair bows to match also.

Jumping up and down on the slide

Andiee pushing Halle around in her litte car...and Halle loving every minute of it.

Andiee's first encounter with corn on the cobb...she's sold! (=
